Customized Moisturizing Face Serum
Some people think that only people with dry skin need a moisturizer. Oh, how wrong they are!
It makes sense that people with dry skin need to use something to moisturize their face, but did you know that some studies suggest that people with oily skin or combination skin may be producing too much oil because the skin is not getting enough moisture. The skin then makes up for it by producing more oil.
No matter the age or skin type, we all need a great moisturizer to keep our skin hydrated, protect against environmental damage, and helps prevent irritation.
Washing our face often strips our skin of the natural oils (sebum). By using a face serum, we are replenishing the natural oils on our face.
We all need to use a moisturizer, but we shouldn’t all use the same one. Our skin is different, and it has different needs. That’s why this face serum will be a perfect part of your daily skin care routine!
Normal Skin: “Normal” is a term widely used to refer to well-balanced skin. Normal skin is neither too oily nor too dry.
Dry Skin: “Dry” is used to describe a skin type that produces less sebum than normal skin. Dry skin lacks the lipids it needs to retain moisture. Dry skin can feel tight and rough and look dull.
Oily Skin/Mild-Acne: “Oily” is used to describe a skin type with heightened sebum production. This over production is known as seborrhea. Oily skin has a glossy shine and visible pores. Oily skin tends to have acne.
Combination Skin: Combination Skin is, as the name suggests, skin that consists of a mix of skin types. Skin types vary between the T-Zone and the cheeks on combination skin.
Sensitive Skin: If your skin is sensitive try to find out what your triggers are so you can avoid them. There are many possible reasons, but often it’s in response to particular skin care products. Sensitive skin can show up as redness, itching, burning, and drying.
How to use:
1. Remove makeup. Try our hemp oil or watermelon seed oil as a makeup remover. It might sound odd to wipe oil on your face as a first step of cleaning, but oil dissolves oil. So, oil is a great way to remove mascara, eyeshadow, & even foundation. Try out our oils!!!
2. Cleanse. Wash your face with your customized face wash.
3. Toner. Shake well to mix, and apply with a cotton round (or spritz onto face). Using gentle upward motions all over the face and upper neck (avoiding eye area).
4. Face Serum. Apply your customized face serum. A drop of serum to forehead, each cheek, and chin. Gently massage in using small soft upward strokes. Store bottle in a cool, dark space.
